What is IQOS?

IQOS is a heated tobacco product device, produced by Philip Morris International (PMI). It’s an alternative to smoking, but unlike vapes, which use e-liquid, IQOS heats real tobacco that provide real tobacco taste satisfaction.  It offers a ritual similar to smoking without cigarette smoke.

IQOS uses a controlled heating technology that gives the same experience without the burning of tobacco. Burning tobacco is proven to generate over 6,000 chemicals, of which 100 have been identified as causes or potential causes of smoking-related disease.

Undoubtedly, the best option for any smoker is to quit tobacco and nicotine use altogether, as the adverse effects of smoking are well-researched.  

Slim and stylish

At approximately 120g, IQOS is so light you can take it anywhere. The device's heft feels light in the hands, and with dimensions of roughly 11 cm x 5 cm, it's about the size of a small mobile handset.

In 2017, the IQOS 2.4+ won a Good Design Award, the oldest and most prestigious recognition for excellent design worldwide. The jury of the Awards said this about IQOS:

Simple to use, ready at a touch

To use IQOS, simply insert a specially designed tobacco stick (HEETS™) into the IQOS holder and press the button to heat the tobacco. There's no need to hold down any buttons continuously like some e-cigarettes. After the experience is over (14 puffs or 6 minutes, whichever comes first), your IQOS will shut off automatically.

Place the IQOS holder into the pocket charger again to charge the holder for your next experience. Some IQOS users prefer to always have their IQOS ready and buy a second holder for continuous charging. Our variety of carry cases are designed to hold an IQOS, a second IQOS holder, and a pack of HEETS™ for convenient carrying.

Convenient pocket charger and battery indicator

The pocket charger holds the IQOS holder while charging and stores the holder when it's not in use. Indicator lights on the pocket charger ensure you always know when your IQOS holder is ready and how much battery remains in the pocket charger. One light indicates 25% battery power remaining, two lights 50%, and so on.

Your IQOS comes shipped with 50% battery life in the pocket charger, so you should be able to use your IQOS right away. There's no need to charge the pocket charger to full power to use the IQOS holder. Once the pocket charger is fully charged, you can use it up to 20 times—the same number of times as sticks in a pack of HEETS™.

IQOS devices, HEETS^TM, and accessories can be purchased in IQOS boutiques and pop-up stores in select locations and on the IQOS Philippines website. Meanwhile, HEETS™ are available for purchase in select 7-Eleven convenience stores in Metro Manila and Rizal and vape shops in malls and online.
