What to do when your IQOS ORIGINALS is not working as expected.

When your IQOS ORIGINALS is not functioning as expected, the following steps help to resolve the issue:

  1. Start with a reset.
  2. Keep your device fully charged.
  3. Keep your device cleaned.
  4. Always use a HEETS stick.
  5. Store your device in an environment that maintains the correct operating temperature.

How to reset your IQOS ORIGINALS.

To perform a reset:

  1. Place the holder back inside the pocket charger ensuring correct placement: metal connector of the holder should be at the bottom of the pocket charger.
  2. Reset your device by pressing the pocket charger button for 10 seconds. Keep it pressed while all the lights dim out.
  3. The battery status light will fade in, flash twice, then progressively fade in to confirm a reset.

How to remove tobacco residue stuck in the IQOS holder.

If air is not flowing through the device, there might be tobacco stuck in your holder, which may need to be cleaned.

  1. Allow your IQOS ORIGINALS holder to cool completely before starting to clean it (at least 30 seconds after last use).
  2. Always use the IQOS Dual Cleaning Tool and IQOS Cleaning Sticks.
  3. Avoid applying too much pressure and touching the heating blade.
  4. Perform cleaning after each pack of HEETS tobacco sticks.
