Although the devices look similar at first glance, there is a crucial difference on the inside: the HEATCONTROL TECHNOLOGY of the IQOS ORIGINALS ONE and IQOS 3 MULTI regulates the heat by means of a heating blade inside the device, thus heating the specially developed HEETS^TM tobacco sticks instead of burning them.

The IQOS ILUMA ONE, on the other hand, uses the innovative SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™, which gently heats TEREA tobacco sticks by induction for a consistent tobacco experience from the inside out.
