A clean device for the best experience

Make sure you clean your IQOS ORIGINALS after approximately 20 HEETS tobacco sticks with the IQOS cleaning tools to ensure the proper functioning of your device and optimum heated tobacco experience.

Clean the holder to remove some tobacco residues that may remain in the holder which may cause stick insertion difficulties and keep the contacts between holder and pocket charger clean to always ensure the optimal charging of your holder.

IQOS ORIGINALS has automatic cleaning which happens when the holder is inside the pocket charger after 20 sessions. It is important to always close the door of the pocket charger while the holder is inside, as when the pocket charger door is left open with the holder inside, this process cannot happen.

How to clean your IQOS ORIGINALS Holder

Keeping the holder of your device clean is important to avoid low or no aerosol issues and enjoy your experience with IQOS ORIGINALS. Make sure that the Holder has cooled down before cleaning and do not use any liquids to clean the device or the cleaning tools.

1. Slide the cap upwards, remove it completely and tap out the Holder.
2. Use IQOS 2-in-1 Cleaning Tool: (i) Start with inserting the IQOS Cleaning Tool (with rotating head) without twisting, with a straight and gentle gesture until it touches the bottom of the heating chamber, and then gently twist 2-3 times. Stop twisting, and extract the tool straight from the Holder. (ii) Take the other part of IQOS Cleaning Tool (with sweeping head) and gently insert it. Please avoid forced inserting the tool as it might cause damage towards the blade. Make three elliptical movements (gently move it sideways from left to right) to gently clean the blade. (iii) Gently tap the Holder to remove any loose residue.
3. Clean the inside of the Holder with the IQOS Cleaning Sticks to remove stubborn residues.
4. Finally, clean the cap from both sides.
