How is the Warranty Replacement/Claim Process For IQOS ILUMA i™ If My Device Has Faulty?

You can take your IQOS ILUMA i™ device to the nearest IQOS tobacco heating device store. The replacement process will first involve a diagnosis of the device by an IQOS Expert. 

If the diagnosis shows that the device is still faulty and within the warranty period, the faulty device will be replaced with the same device as your faulty one. For example, a faulty IQOS ILUMA i™ will be replaced with a new IQOS ILUMA i™, or according to the available replacement device stock. 

What is the warranty period for IQOS ILUMA i™?​

The warranty for IQOS ILUMA i™ is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of IQOS ILUMA i™ branded products that have defects in materials or workmanship when used in accordance with the relevant IQOS User Guide and can be claimed under a valid warranty claim.​ 

What is not covered under the warranty for IQOS ILUMA i™?​

The following are not covered under the warranty for IQOS ILUMA i™:​ 

  • Uninterrupted functionality of the product.​ 
  • Damage outside the warranty period.​ 
  • Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents from impacts, damage to the stick, etc.) that does not affect the functionality of the device.​ 
  • Damage due to misuse, electrical instability, careless use, or contact with water or fire.​ 
  • Damage from using tools that are not compatible with the device, whether produced by Philip Morris International or third parties.​ 
  • Damage from attempts to disassemble, modify, or repair the device by the user or by services not accredited by IQOS.​ 
  • Damage from use not in accordance with the IQOS user manual.​ 
  • Decreased battery performance. Battery performance degradation over time is not a manufacturing defect and is excluded from this warranty.​ 
  • Products that partially or entirely use unofficial parts.​ 
  • Products with serial numbers that have been removed or altered.​ 
  • Damage due to improper operation of the “autostart” and/or “double tap” features that does not affect the functionality of the product."​
