How Does IQOS Device Work?

IQOS is a new way to enjoy the taste of real tobacco: With IQOS, specifically crafted tobacco sticks made with real tobacco (referred to as "HEETS") are heated to a precise temperature range using a patented heating technology (referred to as "HeatControl™ technology").

To use IQOS, the HEETS tobacco stick is inserted into the heating system (holder) and heated by a lithium battery by pressing the holder button. HEETS can be used once the optimal temperature is reached. The duration of use is approximately the same as a cigarette.

Why and When Does My IQOS Device Vibrate?

Your IQOS will vibrate to indicate the current usage status of the device. IQOS 3 DUOS and IQOS 3 Multi device: vibration at the start of heating (as soon as you press the On/Off button on the holder). Two vibrations after that, the device is ready to use. Two more vibrations when the HEETS stick is almost run out (about 30 seconds or 2 puffs before it runs out).

Can I Use HEETS Tobacco Sticks Twice?

No, do not use HEETS tobacco twice. HEETS tobacco sticks have been designed so that the duration of use is approximately the same as a cigarette. Replace finished HEETS tobacco sticks and use new ones.

Is IQOS Water Resistant?

All IQOS devices are not waterproof. Be cautious to avoid getting wet or falling into the water.

IQOS is also designed to operate under a wide range of temperature conditions. We recommend using it in the following environments:

• IQOS 3 DUOS, IQOS 3 Multi & IQOS Original: 0 °C to 50 °C
• IQOS 2.4 Plus: 10°C to 40°C
