Terms & Conditions

The Refer a Friend Program offer with details provided in ANNEX A (“Offer”) is open to legal age users who are at least 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer) and above residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products (“Customer”).

ANNEX A

Mechanics

1. Definition of Terms

(a) Referrer – a Customer who is at least 18 years old or older and residing in the Philippines with a IQOS or IQOS.com account and who has a Linked IQOS device* at IQOS.com. 

(b) Referral Code – a valid unique code provided to each Referrer that is accessible in IQOS.com on which the Referrer could share to participate in the Offer.

(c) Referee - an adult smoker or nicotine product user who is at least 18 years old or older and residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco products or nicotine-containing products, and is not yet an IQOS device user before this Offer, and decides under this Offer to purchase their first IQOS device in the Philippines using the referral code shared by the Referrer. In addition, a Referee should not have a pre-existing IQOS.com or IQOS account with a linked device.

* Linked IQOS device means the Customer has registered an account in IQOS.com and has linked their IQOS device to their registered IQOS.com account.

2. Eligibility/Who Can Avail

(a) The Offer is open to all Referees with access to a referral code shared to them by a Referrer.

(b) The Referrer can participate in the Offer by sharing his/her referral code to a Referee.

(c) The Referee can participate in the Offer by using the referral code to purchase his/her first IQOS device kit.

Note: Under this offer, the Referee can choose one from the following IQOS Device Kits to purchase:

(i) IQOS ILUMA

(ii) IQOS ILUMA ONE

3. Duration of the Offer and Where to Avail

(a) The Offer period is from December 15, 2024 to December 31, 2025. PMFTC/AAI has the sole discretion to shorten or extend the Offer period if circumstances so warrant.

(b) The Offer can only be availed in the following points-of-sale:

i. Official IQOS Stores

ii. IQOS.com (online store)

iii. IQOS Coaches

iv. IQOS Pop-up Stores

IQOS Pop-up Stores are deployed in various locations in Metro Manila operated by IQOS Field Sales Experts where a Customer may avail of the Offer. IQOS Pop-up Store locations are provided in ANNEX B.

v. IQOS Partners

IQOS Partners are select establishment in various locations that are authorized to distribute PMFTC products. IQOS Partner locations are provided in ANNEX B.

4. Specific Terms of the Offer

(a) The Referrer will share his/her referral code to the Referee, and the Referee will enjoy a discount when purchasing his/her first IQOS device kit.

(b) The Referrer will receive an IQOS Voucher (amount provided in the table below) for every successful first IQOS device purchase by a unique Referee using the Referrer’s referral code. “Unique Referee” means a Referree who is a one-time referral of the Referrer.

(c) Under the Offer, the standard discount and IQOS Voucher reward value shall be as follows:

The offer period from Dec. 15, 2024 – Dec. 31, 2024

The offer period from Jan 1, 2025 – Dec. 31, 2025

(d) The following are the guidelines for the Referee’s discount using the Referrer’s referral code.

i. With a valid referral code, the Referee will be given a discount on which they can only use to purchase his/her first IQOS ILUMA, IQOS ILUMA ONE.

ii. The Referee must present the Referrer’s referral code to the IQOS Coaches, IQOS Pop-up Stores or in IQOS Stores, or input the Referrer’s referral code in the promo section of the check-out page in IQOS.com for validation before it can be used to purchase their first IQOS device kit.

iii. A Referee can only avail of the Offer once, and can only use one valid referral code to be used solely for the purchase of his/her first IQOS device kit. 

iv. The Referree will be subject to age verification process wherein he/she will be requested to submit a valid Government Issued ID. The following valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver’s License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter’s ID.

v. In case of suspicious, illegal or fraudulent activities with respect to the use of the discount code, PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Referree’s IQOS or IQOS.com account or cancel the transaction.

(e) The following are the guidelines for the Referrer’s IQOS Voucher reward for the successful use of their referral code:

i. The Referrer will receive an IQOS Voucher for every successful purchase by a unique Referree of their first IQOS Device kit using the Referrer’s unique code. 

(aa) The value of the Referrer’s IQOS Voucher under this Offer is provided in the table above and is subject to the Device Kit that the Referee will purchase as indicated in section 4(c) of this ANNEX A:

(bb) Under this Offer, the Referrer may receive an IQOS Voucher for a maximum of twenty times only based on a total of twenty unique and successful referral transactions using his/her referral code.

ii. The IQOS Voucher reward notification will be sent to the Referrer’s registered IQOS.com email address and/or mobile number. It is the responsibility of the Referrer to update his/her personal details in their IQOS.com account to ensure timely receipt of the confirmation notice or message. 

As long as it is proven that the IQOS Voucher reward notification was sent to the Referrer’s registered IQOS.com email address and/or mobile number, then PMFTC or its authorized representative/service provider shall not be liable for any failure of the Referrer to redeem or use any voucher and will not refund any voucher due to any alleged non-receipt by the Referrer of the confirmation notice or message.

iii. The IQOS Voucher cannot be used to purchase a IQOS ILUMA PRIME Device. 

iv. The issuance of IQOS Vouchers for Referrers may be subject to possible delays due to technical and system limitations. We will issue the necessary notice in IQOS.com if such is the case.

v. The Referrer’s IQOS Vouchers cannot be combined with other special offers, promotions or vouchers, and must be used within sixty (60) days from date of issuance of the voucher.

vi. Each IQOS Voucher can only be used in a single transaction. Any balance or any remaining amount in an IQOS Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or another IQOS Voucher and will be automatically forfeited.

vii. For orders using the IQOS Vouchers that lead to failed transactions (e.g. order cancellation, failed payment, failed delivery, etc), a Referrer may request for a one-time replacement IQOS Voucher from IQOS Customer Care, subject to the following:

(aa) Review of the failed transaction (e.g. accidental order cancellation, unavailability of the Customer (Referrer in this case) during delivery, etc) and the value of the IQOS Voucher that was used that led to a failed transaction

(bb) Referrer’s eligibility for the Offer and compliance with the requirements of the Offer

(cc) If still eligible to use the IQOS Voucher, IQOS Customer Care will send the replacement IQOS Voucher to the Referrer’s nominated email address as reflected in IQOS.com. It is the responsibility of the Referrer to update his/her personal details in their IQOS.com account to ensure timely receipt of the replacement IQOS Voucher.

As long as it is proven that the replacement IQOS Voucher notification was sent to the Referrer’s registered IQOS.com email address and/or mobile number, then PMFTC or its authorized representative/service provider shall not be liable for any failure of the Referrer to redeem or use any voucher and will not refund any voucher due to any alleged non-receipt by the Referrer of the confirmation notice or message.

viii. The IQOS Voucher for the Referrer is not transferable and not convertible to cash.

ix. In case of suspicious, illegal or fraudulent activities with respect to the use of the IQOS Voucher, PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Referrer’s IQOS or IQOS.com account or cancel the transaction.
