2024 MOTHER’S DAY CAMPAIGN
Terms & Conditions

 

The 2024 Mother’s Day Campaign offer with details provided in ANNEX A (“Offer”) is open to legal age users who are at least 18 years old (as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer) and above residing in the Philippines who otherwise wish to continue to use tobacco or nicotine containing products (“Customer”).

I. GENERAL

1. This Offer is being carried out by ActivAsia Inc. (“AAI”) as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products. IQOS Stores are operated by AAI and IQOS coaches are authorized sales representatives of AAI. IQOS.com is owned by Philip Morris International and its affiliate in the Philippines, PMFTC Inc ("PMFTC") and the online store of IQOS.com is operated by AAI, and all orders are fulfilled by AAI, as an authorized distributor of PMFTC products sold in IQOS Stores and IQOS.com. Deliveries are carried out by AAI or by AAI’s authorized third-party delivery providers.

2. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to modify, change, or revise the rules and mechanics of the Offer.

3. Customers using multiple IQOS.com accounts to participate in the Offer are disqualified. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to disqualify any Customer if there is any evidence of fraud or irregularities in his/her participation in the Offer.

4. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to hold, suspend or block a Customer’s IQOS.com account due to suspicious, fraudulent or illegal activity.

5. PMFTC/AAI reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke these terms and conditions without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, cheating, a security breach or any anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, an event or disturbance outside of PMFTC’s control such as acts of God, civil or military events, catastrophes, technical issues/connectivity, pandemic or war. Any changes to the Offer will be announced accordingly. 

6. By participating in the Offer, Customer confirms his/her consent to process his/her personal data provided as part of the Offer. Details of such processing are described in Philip Morris International’s (PMI) Consumer Privacy Notice found at https://www.pmiprivacy.com/en/consumer and AAI’s Data Privacy Consent Policy.

II. AGE VERIFICATION AND DELIVERY; REFUND FOR FAILED DELIVERY

1. The Customer will be subject to age verification process wherein he/she will be requested to submit a valid Government Issued ID before items can be purchased and/or delivered to the Customer. The following valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver's License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter's ID.

2. In cases where Customer cannot accept the delivery, an authorized representative who is at least eighteen (18) years old and above can claim on behalf of the Customer provided the following documents are presented to the courier:

a) Valid government issued ID of representative for identity check and age verification

b) Copy of a valid government issued ID of Customer for identity check and age verification

c) Signed authorization letter indicating the order reference number and stating that the Customer is authorizing the representative to receive the orders.

The courier will not be able to proceed with the transaction if any of the above-required documents are not presented.

3. For deliveries, the courier will communicate and coordinate the details, with delivery attempt at a maximum of two (2) times. A third delivery attempt will be available in selected cities that offer same/next day delivery; and can be arranged with an additional delivery fee that will be communicated in advance by AAI/courier, and to be confirmed by the Customer. In the event of failure to receive the delivery for credit card or GCash transactions, normal refund process will be followed:

For credit card transactions:

For Credit Cards issued locally: Refund will take up to 10 working days but also subject to issuing bank lead times

For Credit Cards issued abroad: Refund will take up to 45 days, but also subject to issuing bank lead times

You may check the status of your refund with your issuing bank.

4. For GCash transactions, refund must be coursed through IQOS Customer Care team. The Customer shall call IQOS Customer Care team to trigger the refund process and will be able to credit back to the Customer’s GCash account real time.

III. OTHERS

1. IQOS.com website may be subject to possible technical and system issues. We will provide the necessary notice to the Customers if such is the case.

2. All decisions of PMFTC and/or AAI and its agents in all matters relating to the interpretation and implementation of this mechanics are final, and no objections and/or appeals thereon will be entertained.

3. Customers in the Offer agree and confirm the following:

  • that you are a legal-age smoker at least 18 years old or above as of the date of his/her participation in the Offer; 
  • that you have read and understood the terms and conditions detailed herein; 
  • that you agree to follow the applicable mechanics of the Offer; 
  • that you agree to assume all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release and discharge PMFTC and/or AAI, its affiliates and all other persons and entities connected with the Offer from any liability for, or any claims that may arise in respect of, any and all property losses and/or injuries whatsoever that you may sustain, no matter how any such property losses and/or injuries are caused.

5. PMFTC/AAI will not be liable to the Customer for any taxes, costs, liabilities or expenses that may arise from this Offer.

ANNEX A

MECHANICS

1. Eligibility/Who Can Avail:

(a) At least 18 years old who would otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotine products.

(b) Residing in the National Capital Region, Philippines.

(c) Meets a minimum spend of P3,000 (incl. tax) in a single transaction on IQOS Official Stores (physical), IQOS.com (online), IQOS Official Store in Lazada PH (online), IQOS Official Store in Shopee PH (online), or IQOS Official Store in GLife (online).

2. Duration of the Offer and Where to Avail

(a) The duration of the Promotion is from May 10 to 23, 2024 or until supplies last.

(b) Redemption period is May 10 to 23, 2024 or until supplies last.

(c) The Offer can be availed in the ff:

(i) IQOS Official Stores (physical)

(ii) IQOS.com (online)

(iii) IQOS Official Store in Lazada PH (online)

(iv) IQOS Official Store in Shopee PH (online)

(v) IQOS Official Store in GLife (online)

3. Specific Terms of the Offer:

(a) With the 2024 Mother’s Day Campaign, IQOS will be offering a FREE Deli by Chele Gourmet Box (worth P1,500) for a minimum spend of P3,000 (incl. tax) in a single transaction on IQOS Official Stores (physical), IQOS.com (online), IQOS Official Store in Lazada PH (online), IQOS Official Store in Shopee PH (online), or IQOS Official Store in GLife (online) on May 10 to 23, 2024 or until supplies last only. Valid once per user.

(b) Qualified Customers will be subject to age verification process wherein he/she will be requested to submit a valid Government Issued ID before handover during delivery of his Deli by Chele Gourmet Box. The following are valid Government Issued IDs as proof of age: Passport, Alien Certificate of Registration, Driver's License, Firearms License, NBI Clearance Card, Philhealth ID, Postal ID, PRC ID, SSS ID, TIN ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID or Voter's ID.

(c) All qualified Customers will be contacted by the Deli by Chele customer support team using their registered mobile number in their IQOS.com or Lazada/Shopee/GLife account starting May 10, 2024. The Deli by Chele customer support team will ask the legal aged user to confirm his/her Customer details (name, age, delivery address and contact number) including the co-dentify and sales order number of their eligible transaction.

(d) Deli by Chele’s authorized third-party delivery providers will deliver the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box within the period of May 10 to 31, 2024. They will require the qualified Customer to present any valid Government Issued ID as well as the leave behind card or proof of purchase/original sales receipt before turning over the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box. If the Customer cannot provide the leave behind card or the proof of purchase/original sales receipt, the third-party delivery provider will not give the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box. If the Customer provides the leave behind card or proof of purchase/original sales receipt, the third-party delivery provider will give the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box and will ask the Customer to sign an acknowledgement form.

(e) Deli by Chele authorized third-party delivery provider will communicate and coordinate the delivery details and will attempt to deliver the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box at a maximum of one (1) time only. If the Customer cannot receive the delivery within fifteen (15) minutes during the first delivery attempt, the Offer is considered forfeited.

(f) In cases where Customer cannot accept the delivery (IQOS products and Deli by Chele Gourmet Box), an authorized representative who is at least eighteen (18) years old and above can claim on behalf of the Customer provided the following documents are presented to the courier:

a) Valid government issued ID of the representative for identity check and age verification.

b) Copy of your valid government issued ID for identity check and age verification.

c) Signed authorization letter indicating the order reference number and stating that you are authorizing the representative to receive the orders.

The courier will not be able to proceed with the transaction if any of the above-required documents are not presented.

(g) Deli by Chele Gourmet Boxes are not convertible to cash. The images of the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box shown in IQOS communication materials are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the content of the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box. The content of the Deli by Chele Gourmet Box is subject to availability of products.

(h) PMFTC’s obligation ends after the Deli by Chele Gourmet Boxes have been delivered to the LAS or LAU who purchased a minimum of P3,000 (incl. tax) worth in a single transaction from May 10 to 23, 2024 on IQOS Official Stores (physical), IQOS.com IQOS Official Store in Lazada PH, IQOS Official Store in Shopee PH, or IQOS Official Store in GLife.

(i) Specific for IQOS product deliveries, AAI’s courier will communicate and coordinate the details, with delivery attempt at a maximum of two (2) times. A third delivery attempt will be available in selected cities that offer same/next day delivery; and can be arranged with an additional delivery fee that will be communicated in advance by AAI/courier, and to be confirmed by the Customer. In the event of failure to receive the delivery for credit card or GCash transactions, normal refund process will be followed:

(j) PMFTC reserves the right to verify the Customer’s eligibility in the Offer and disqualify any Customer if there is any evidence of fraud or irregularities in his/her participation in the Offer.
