What do the LEDs lights on my IQOS 3 DUO mean?
The LED lights on your IQOS device has different meanings. White LED lights show that the IQOS 3 DUO is carrying out one of the various operations and Red LED lights signal that your device is warning for an error.
Lights on the Pocket Charger:
Pulsing white rounded lights: This indicates that your holder is being charged
Stationary white rounded lights with short press to the pocket charger button: This shows the charge status of your holder. 2 stationary rounded lights: your holder is ready for 2 back-to-back experiences, 1 stationary rounded light: your holder is ready for one experience
Blinking red rounded light: This shows a warning comes from your holder:

Your heating blade might be broken. Check your heating blade and if it is broken launch our online diagnostic tool

Your holder might not be getting enough charge from your pocket charger. Always use official AC adaptor and power cable with a power outlet and always clean the contacts between your holder and pocket charger. Your device might need a RESET. Take out your holder and put it back inside of your pocket charger. Press the pocket charger button for 10 seconds.
Stationary white strip lights with short press to the pocket charger button: This shows the charge status of your pocket charger.

4 full white strip lights will indicate that the pocket charger is more than 75% charged

3 full white strip lights: 50% - 75% charged

2 full white strip lights: 25% - 50% charged

1 full white strip light: Less than 25% charged
1 flashing white strip light with short press to the pocket charger button: Your pocket charger is discharged, please charge it with an official AC Adaptor and Cable through a power outlet.
Rapidly blinking one white strip light: The device is not within the operating temperature range (0°C to 50°C) or the holder needs to be fully recharged using the pocket charger.
Lights on the holder:
Pulsing white lights: This indicates that your holder is pre-heating the tobacco stick or informing you that your experience is going to finish shortly.
Stationary white lights with a short press to the holder button: This shows the charge status of your holder. Two lights illuminated indicates your Holder is ready for 2 uses; one light for 1 use and no lights means no charge, and you need to place your holder inside your pocket charger.
Blinking red light:

When the holder white light is blinking, it means that the device is being operated outside the suitable temperature range (between 0°C and 50°) Try to warm the device in your hand or let it cool down in your pocket

Red lights on the pocket charger:
The lower LED on the charger is blinking red: Make sure your device is within the operating temperature range (between 10°C and 40°C). If that does not solve the problem, please reset the device.
The upper LED on the charger is blinking red: There is a problem with the holder. Clean the holder. Check the holder’s temperature. Check whether the heating blade has broken off. Launch the online troubleshooting tool. -
Red light on the holder:
Holder status light is blinking red: warm the holder in your hand for about 1 minute, or let it cool down in your pocket. If your device has a solid or blinking red LED, please reset your device or launch the online diagnostic Tool
What do I do if an LED on my IQOS 3 DUO Holder no longer lights up?
Let’s first identify the right device part that is causing the issue:

Place the holder inside the pocket charger. Ensure to place it correctly.: Metal connector of the holder should be at the bottom of the pocket charger.

Briefly press and release the pocket charger button and observe which option you are seeing from the below;

The pocket charger (strip lights) are briefly turning ON, the holder status (rounded lights) are OFF. This means your pocket charger is working, but holder is still not.

No lights turning ON. This means your pocket charger may have an issue.
If after following these first steps, there’s no light on pocket charger, your device might be OFF and needs to be switched ON:

Keep the holder inside the pocket charger. Ensure to place it correctly: metal connector of the holder should be at the bottom of the pocket charger.

Press the pocket charger button for 4 seconds to turn your device ON. Remember, the same action applies to turn it OFF as well. Turning OFF the pocket charger will also turn OFF the holder.
If pocket charger is working, but the holder still not, it means that your holder might not be getting charge from your pocket charger: clean the contacts, ensure the optimal charging for your device, perform a RESET and press and release briefly the pocket charger button. Then, check the rounded lights on your pocket charger:

Rounded lights pulsing or stationary white. This means your holder is back ON.

Rounded lights are OFF. This means your holder is still OFF
