IQOS and the try before you buy program is for use of existing adult smokers or tobacco users only.


What is the Try Before You Buy IQOS Program and what are the Benefits?

Our Try Before You Buy program is your opportunity to trial an IQOS ILUMA device in the comfort of your own home for 14 days with no obligation to buy at the end. It is also your chance to explore our range of TEREA heated tobacco to find the right flavour for you.

An upfront payment of £5 is required to begin your trial. Once the trial period concludes, the choice is yours: either purchase and keep IQOS ILUMA by paying the remaining balance of the device or return it at no additional cost. It’s straightforward—simply monitor your emails to finalize your decision.
During your trial period, you will receive expert support, advice and offers to support you in leaving cigarettes behind for good.

 

How Does the IQOS Try Before You Buy Program work?

Our Try Before You Buy program is your opportunity to trial IQOS ILUMA in the comfort of your own home for 14 days with no obligation to buy at the end. An upfront payment of £5 is required to begin your trial. Once the trial period concludes, the choice is yours: either purchase and keep IQOS ILUMA by paying the remaining balance of the device or return it at no additional cost. It’s straightforward—simply monitor your emails to finalize your decision.

To take advantage of the Try Before You Buy program, you’ll first need to sign up to the program on IQOS.com

 

What’s the process?


1.    Choose which IQOS ILUMA device to trial.
2.    Choose your device color. 
3.    Choose your TEREA Bundle (3-packs). 
4.    Enter your personal information (you can also enter a referral code here if you have one).
At this stage, we will verify your age based on the information you provide. To do this, we’ll need your home address and date of birth.
5.    Enter your payment details (you will be charged an upfront cost of £5, which is non-refundable).
6.    Receive your device within 1-2 working days at your chosen shipping address. Orders placed before 8:00pm will be shipped for next day delivery. 
7.    After 14 days, when your trial is over, you can then decide whether to buy and keep the IQOS ILUMA device, extend your trial, or return it at no extra cost. 
 

How to return an IQOS Device from the Try Before You Buy Program?

Two days before the end of your trial, we will send you an email asking whether you want to buy and keep the device, extend your trial or return it to us.

If you don’t think IQOS ILUMA is for you, simply inform us of your decision to return the device through either of the emails you receive on day 12 or 15 post sign-up. Within both emails you can select ‘return’, and this will instruct one of our Customer service team to call you in the coming 2 days to organize your free returns. They will ensure any second payment it suspended and provide you with a returns label. Alternatively you can organize your return on the IQOS.com returns portal. 

Please ensure we receive your device within 38 days from the date your order was placed. For more details around the return process, visit our Return & Refund” guide.

 

What to expect at the end of your trial?

On day 12 (two days before the end of your trial) we will email you and ask you choose from the following options:

Keep

If you would like to keep your IQOS ILUMA, that’s great! Simply select the ‘Buy and Keep’ option in the email to confirm. We will automatically process the payment for the remaining cost of the device approximately 25 days after your initial sign-up date. 

Extend

Similarly, if you need more time to decide, that’s not a problem. Just select the ‘Extend’ option in the email to prolong your trial period by an additional 7 days. Please keep an eye on your emails during this extension for further instructions and information before making your final decision. 

Return

If IQOS ILUMA isn’t the right fit for you, that’s absolutely fine. Just select the ‘Return’ option in the email and provide a reason for your decision. We’ll handle the rest. After making your selection, we will attempt to contact you within the next two days to organize your free return.

What if I want to keep my IQOS device at the end of the 14 days?


If you’re happy with your IQOS ILUMA or IQOS ILUMA ONE, that’s excellent news!  Simply choose the ‘Buy and Keep’ option in the end of trial email to confirm. We will automatically process the payment for the remaining balance of the device selected approximately 25 days after your initial sign-up date. Additionally, you will receive an email confirmation on the day the payment is processed.
