What Do We Mean by “Up to X Number of Puffs”?

When we say: “up to X number of puffs” we’re referring to the number of draws you could get from VEEV NOW disposables or VEEV ONE pods. The number of puffs indicated is an estimation of the puffs you could achieve with this device based on our internal testing.  

Generally, the number of vape puffs you actually get depends on your individual usage pattern, and may vary from day to day (more on this below). Your individual usage pattern may also differ from that of other users.

How Are the Number of Puffs Calculated?

Calculating how many puffs are in a vape from the VEEV range is not an exact science. As with any vape, the puff count will typically be affected by the way you use it.

Generally, if you take longer puffs at less regular intervals, the e-liquid will deplete slower. Alternatively, if you take shorter puffs at more regular intervals, the e-liquid will likely deplete faster.

For VEEV NOW disposable vapes, the achievable number of puffs is based on the battery capacity of a newly manufactured device. However, the device is also prefilled with a finite amount of e-liquid, meaning you may be out of puffs once this depletes, as opposed to when the battery does.

For VEEV ONE closed-pod systems, the achievable number of puffs is calculated up to the point when the system detects low liquid in the pod, which automatically powers off the device. The number of puffs you have available may also depend on the charge status of your VEEV ONE device. VEEV ONE needs a single charge for a full pod.

So how do we test and measure how many puffs are in a vape from VEEV? 

As part of our vape puff count calculation methods, we consider individual usage variation. Your consumption behaviour will change from one experience to the next, so we assume that each draw will take one second and that’s how we develop our puff count. We base this on consumer insights, but recognise that there will be a number of adult consumers whose puff duration is more than one second, so we provide the average number of puffs you could get from one second to three.
