Why is VEEV Offering up to £5 for Recycled Vapes?

Responsible consumption and waste reduction are important to us, which is why our VEEV Recycling Programme encourages adult vapers to recycle vapes. By using our vape recycling programme, you can get up to £5 off IQOS.com products per transaction – all while we responsibly dispose of your used vapes.

In the past, our programme only took used VEEV products. However, as part of the recycling programme re-launch we’ve expanded our offering, and now accept any brand so you can recycle disposable vapes, pods and cartridges from multiple manufacturers.

Vape Recycling Near Me - Find the IQOS Stores That Offer Our Vape Recycle Scheme

You can recycle vapes via our scheme in selected stores - including IQOS Kensington and 888 Vapour stores. Find where to recycle vapes near you with 888 Vapour’s store locator, or see how far away IQOS Kensington is from your location.

These selected stores offer more than just the recycling programme. You’ll also find a range of IQOS and VEEV products available, which you can try in-store with experts on hand to answer any questions.

Why Should You Recycle Disposable Vapes?

Improperly disposing of these vapes has a detrimental effect on the environment. When disposable vapes are thrown in with general waste, they could end up in an incinerator, or in landfill.

When incinerated, these vapes could produce greenhouse gas emissions. What’s more, tonnes of lithium are lost each year in the UK (10 tonnes per year to be exact) when disposable vapes are thrown away1, which could cause a fire risk if not disposed of safely. If people continue to throw disposable vapes into general waste, this could further exacerbate the production of greenhouse gases, as well as the fire risk they pose.

When you recycle vapes properly (i.e., through disposable vape recycle programmes like ours), you could help to minimise the number of devices that are improperly disposed of. Find out more on how vapes affect the environment and general guidance on how to dispose of disposable vapes.

Smoke-free products are not risk-free and provide nicotine, which is addictive. The best decision any adult smoker can make is to quit tobacco and nicotine use altogether. Smoke-free products are not alternatives to quitting and are not designed as cessation aids.
